Katie from Locality Studio assisted the i5 planning team on the Jamestown Mall Market Analysis and Feasibility Study by providing project branding, website design, graphic design, and community engagement. The project lasted from February to December 2022.
The project’s hexagon logo mark stemmed from the abandoned mall’s skylights, with the rest of the brand focused on community collaboration and future opportunities. The Squarespace website provided information about project goals, schedule, advisory committee, and team. All project documents and media were also housed on the site.
Graphic design for the project included flyers, signage, public meeting boards, report templates, and more. Katie worked with the planning team to plan, setup, and facilitate the two, large community meetings. The public was asked for their thoughts on existing conditions, future possibilities, and scenario ideas for the redevelopment of the site.
